Thank you for purchasing the Litter-Robot 4 by Whisker self-cleaning litter box. We hope you are
satisfied with the product.
This warranty is issued by OU Rickman Trade Lietuvos filialas and is valid in the Republic
of Lithuania. It applies only to devices purchased from an official Whisker representative or
authorized distributor.
To avoid unnecessary inconvenience, we recommend reading the user manual carefully before
contacting the seller. If you require assistance or consultation, please contact the official Whisker

Your Warranty
This warranty covers:
- Damage caused by accidents, provided that:
- The damage is due to a design or manufacturing defect that prevents the device or its
parts from working according to the manufacturer’s requirements; - The damage is caused unintentionally (including through negligence), assuming
the device was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and not misused.
Examples of accidental damage:- Dropping the device while moving it from one room to another;
- Accidental physical damage caused by a cleaner;
- A guest tripping and falling on the device, causing it to break;
- The damage is due to a design or manufacturing defect that prevents the device or its
- Power surges;
- Mechanical and electrical failures;
- Software support for the Whisker app.
OU Rickman Trade Lietuvos filialas guarantees that the device will be free from material or
construction defects during the warranty period specified in point 4. If such defects arise during
the warranty period, OU Rickman Trade Lietuvos filialas will, at its discretion, replace the entire
device or its part free of charge under the conditions stated below. All replaced parts (i.e., those
removed from the device during repair under this warranty) become the property of OU Rickman
Trade Lietuvos filialas.
Terms
- In case of malfunction, first check the information and FAQ section available at litter-robot.lt/DUK.
If the issue cannot be resolved using this information, contact our customer service by email at litterrobot@
rickman.lt or by phone at +370 655 08080. Our specialists will perform a preliminary remote
diagnosis (by email or phone). If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we will send the required
replacement part free of charge and cover shipping costs. The user can install it themselves following
the provided instructions. It is not necessary to bring the device to a service center - If the unit cannot be repaired through diagnostics or with parts, we will send you a replacement unit at no cost. The defective unit must be returned to us-we will cover the return shipping.
- This warranty is valid only if the original invoice or purchase receipt (indicating the purchase date,
device model, and authorized reseller name) is submitted with the warranty claim. If the claim is
submitted by phone, the invoice or receipt must be sent by email after the initial diagnosis. OU Rickman
Trade Lietuvos filialas reserves the right to refuse free warranty service if these documents are not
provided or if the information is incomplete or illegible. - Warranty Period:
- The warranty period starts from the date the product is handed over to the buyer. If the seller is obligated to deliver the product to the buyer, the warranty period starts from the date the buyer receives the device.
- The warranty period is two (2) years if the product is purchased by a private individual for purposes not related to business, trade, or profession (consumer sale).
- The warranty period is one (1) year if the product is purchased by a legal entity.
The warranty is void if the device has been modified.
This warranty does not limit or affect the consumer’s statutory rights. In case of non-conformity of the
product, the consumer has the right to use the legal remedies provided by law against the seller. This
warranty is an additional remedy and does not affect the rights established by law. If the device is taken
out of the Republic of Lithuania, the warranty remains valid under these terms; however, the customer
is responsible for all shipping costs related to sending spare parts or devices abroad.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Modifications or adaptations of the product for purposes other than those stated in the user manual;
- Damage resulting from misuse, including but not limited to:
- Using the device for an unintended purpose;
- Installation or use of the device in a manner not compliant with the technical or safety standards
of the country where the product is used. In countries where local certification is required by law,
customers importing the product from another country do so at their own risk and acknowledge that
such actions may violate applicable legal regulations.
All questions and/or disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached within
14 calendar days, the consumer (i.e., a private individual purchasing the product for personal use
unrelated to trade, business, or profession) has the right to submit a complaint to the State Consumer
Rights Protection Authority (http://www.vvtat.lt/, email: tarnyba@vvtat.lt, address: A. Goštauto g. 12,
01108 Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania). Disputes between legal entities are resolved under the general
terms and conditions of the purchase agreement.
